English

In English, we will be using a variety of quality texts to develop the children's reading and writing skills. We will have daily phonics sessions using the Read Write Inc materials and weekly spellings that will initially recap and build on the key words intoduced in Reception.

Our first book for our English work this spring term is Lion Inside by Rachel Bright.

After half term we will base our work on The Curious Case Of The Missing Mammoth by Ellie Hattie
