Weekly Newsletter – 18 January 2021

Dear parents and carers

We have received some terrific feedback regarding the remote learning and live lessons that teachers are providing. Can I just add a big thank you to parents as well. It is fantastic to see almost all pupils attending lessons and also completing their follow up work and tasks. I recognise how difficult it must be juggling home life, work and staying safe with supporting your child’s learning. I think that, together, we are providing our pupils with the best education we can at the moment and this will help maintain their development before we return to school some time later this year. Well done everyone!

Your child’s classteacher will have been in regular contact with you but please remember to contact school or email your child’s teacher if you have any questions or need any help.

As always, I have tried to keep the weekly newsletter as brief as possible. Please try to take note of everything in the newsletter as it contains important information and updates.

‘MyHappymind’ forms a vital part of our school's curriculum and we’re delighted to be continuing this provision trough this lockdown. ‘MyHappyMind’ have just updated the parent resources that you can access as part of the subscription and we encourage you to check them out.

We wish them well in their new role and are sure they will be fantastic additions to our governor team.

The BBC have just launched a range of new learning. Click the link for details.

This includes the support already available through the BBC website and BBC Bitesize but also learning and lessons children can watch on TV. Primary learning is between 9am and 12pm every day starting today. There is a timetable available through the link above.
