Dear All,

This week we have enjoyed spending time with the ducklings, observing their quirky characteristics and behaviour ready to use in our duck stories. We worked on our introduction today, describing our duck and setting the scene for the story.

In Maths we have completed the time unit (please continue this learning at home, telling the time to 5-minute intervals). We have now started the Statistics unit.

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be thinking about our school’s 60^th birthday. If you have any old jewellery/beads or buttons, donations would be greatly appreciated. If you know anyone who came to Hillside in the 6o’s and would be willing share with the children their memories, please let me know?

Yesterday we had a workshop from Scarf about Feelings and being healthy. The children loved seeing Jess and Geoffrey Giraffe again.

Don’t forget, next Tuesday is changeover day. Your child will line up in the junior playground and be collected from there also.
