Christmas Lunch – Wednesday 10th December

It is school Christmas lunch this Wednesday.  We hope that the children are looking forward to it!  Most children choose to have a school lunch on this day but the children who prefer to bring a packed lunch are most welcome to still do so.

This year, we would like to make it a really festive occasion.  Children and staff are invited to wear party clothes and/or a Christmas jumper.  They can also wear a Christmas hat/headband.  We hope the children will enjoy a special time.  There will be Christmas decorations, crackers and Christmas music!

Reception and KS1 pupils will all be going in to the hall for around 11.40am, with KS2 pupils all going in after the hall is cleared to enable us to get everyone through in the time available.

Christmas Productions

Thank you for all your ticket orders for the Christmas productions.  The children are very much looking forward to performing for you and hope that you enjoy the shows!  Please note the times of the performances KS1 Wed 2pm Thurs 6.30pm and KS2 Wed 6.30pm Thurs 2pm.  Please note the doors will open at 6pm for evening performances and 1.45pm for afternoon performances.

As always, we really appreciate all your support with costumes, learning lines, etc.  Thank you!

Movember – Thank you!

Thanks everyone for all your support with Movember.  The Hillside Mo Bros raised a fantastic £195.  Well done guys!

A MASSIVE THANKYOU

To everyone who contributed, helped out, manned a stall, bought prizes, set up stalls, made cakes, arranged sponsorship, donated time, attended the fair, sat on Santa’s knee, sang carols, played music, dressed up, got themselves taped to the wall, ate mince pies, stuck on raffle tickets and counted pennies.

This was a huge team effort and couldn’t have happened without the efforts of everyone involved. We hope you all had a lovely time at the fair! We are still counting the takings, but it’s looking good. Watch this space for the final total!

A very merry Christmas and a happy New Year from everyone at Friends of Hillside!
