Sport & Extra- curricular Clubs

We are delighted to announce our school clubs for the first half of the Autumn Term. These clubs will run from 7^th September 2026 (second week back) up to 16^th October 2026 (no clubs last week of term), unless otherwise stated below.

The clubs will only be available to be booked from Today, 2^nd September 2026 at 4pm and will close at 12pm Friday 4^th September 2026.

Bookings will need to be made via the booking system on School Spider and you can access it through our school website or the School Spider App, (this is the same place you book parents evening appointments).

Please remember – usernames are your email now. If using the School Spider App, please download the latest version first, as it may say ‘closed’ if you’ve not got the latest App. A guide to using the school spider app is available on our website here.

We strongly recommend using the School Spider app and advise that you make sure you have the notifications turned on, as we will contact you through school spider if we need to advise you if a club is cancelled etc, as clubs that are held outside may be cancelled in the event of unsuitable weather.

Please note all other communications will still come through Arbor/ParentPay.

Once you are on the app, you need to go to the dashboard, tap on the 3 horizontal lines in the top right corner to get the menu, tap on Bookings and Payments, click on extra-curricular clubs, select the required club and select all available weeks, tap the arrow at the bottom, then add to cart, then checkout, then checkout again and finally complete order. Once you have checked out you will get a confirmation that you have booked a place. If you are unable to select a club that means that the club is full.

ALSO, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECKOUT YOUR BASKET OTHERWISE THE PLACES WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED.

All club details and timings will be available to view on the school website under Sports & Clubs – Extra-curricular clubs & activities.

Places are booked on a first come first served basis up to the maximum number of places available for that club.

Tuesday

• TUESDAY after school – Year 5 & 6 Netball club 3.15-4.15pm Mrs Porter (Max 18 places) 5 Weeks only No Netball club running on the 13^th

Wednesday

• WEDNESDAY before school – Year 3 & 4 Running club 8.10am Mr Khan (Max 20 places)
• WEDNESDAY after school – Year 1 & 2 Sing a long 3.15-4.15pm Mrs Potts (Max 20 places)
• WEDNESDAY after school - KS2 Choir Mrs Fletcher-Curran 3.15-4.15pm We have added the children whose parents/carer have completed the choir form before the summer holidays. (Max 50 places) If you book on now you may not be able to join the Young Voices concert due to numbers, but please let us know if your child is interested in going to Young Voices.

Thursday

• Thursday after school – Year 5 & 6 Boys only football15-4.15pm AT SCHOOL (NOT AT THE FIELD) Mrs Moore (Max 25 places) Please Note only 3 sessions on 10^th 17^th & 24^th September. There will be a girls only club after half term.
• Thursday after school – Year 3 & 4 Boys only football15-4.15pm AT SCHOOL (NOT AT THE FIELD) Mrs Moore (Max 25 places) Please Note only 2 sessions on 1^st & 8^th October. There will be a girls only club after half term.

Friday

• Friday After school – Year 1 & 2 External club - Fundamentals 3.15-4.15pm Mr Khan (Max 20 places) Please follow this link, once on the website please select Helsby Hillside from the list to book.
