Cinema Night

We are all looking forward to our Cinema Night on Thursday. Sorry but booking is now closed. Please remember that the evening starts straight after school and that pick up is at 7pm. Thank you again for your support with this event!

Lunch at the field

The children really enjoyed their time at the field on Thursday. We plan to do this again on Thursday 21st June.

Brake’s Kids Walk

This Wednesday we will be supporting Brake’s Kids Walk. We will be walking ‘around the block’ – along Bates Lane, down Old Chester Road and along the A56 back in to school. This is part of our Road Safety work and is designed to raise the profile of keeping safe on the roads, particularly around school – for pedestrians and drivers.

Spelling and times tables champions

Children across the school have been really impressing us with the effort and dedication they have been putting into learning their spellings and times tables. We have decided to recognise this with a weekly Spelling champion and Times Table champion who will receive a certificate from Mr Richardson every Monday in assembly. Year 1 and Reception children will be awarded 'Key Word' and 'Number' certificates to celebrate their successes too!

Information for new parents

This Wednesday is our information evening for new Reception parents. We are looking forward to welcoming our new Reception cohort in September and induction days are planned for July. We are sure Reception parents will agree – the year seems to have gone very quickly!

Sports Days

Please remember that our Sports Days are scheduled for next week at the school field, Proffits Lane.

KS1 – Monday 18th June - 1.30pm.

KS2 – Wednesday 20th June - 1.30pm.

Please remember that you can park at the field, please do not park on Proffits Lane – someone will be there to direct you where to park. You are most welcome to bring picnic blankets, chairs etc. to make the afternoon more comfortable! We look forward to an enjoyable afternoon. Thank you, as always, for your support with these events; they are days the children will remember!

Internet safety

Please visit our school website - Parents, Safety Online, for some useful information attached regarding parental controls for games consoles.
