Music for Life - Learning an instrument in a quality assured environment as part of a community of musicians in school provides children with the opportunity to develop a truly life-enhancing skill and, crucially, study after study shows that learning a musical instrument, which simultaneously develops and draws on cognitive, affective, linguistic, listening, social and physical skills, makes a significant difference to all round attainment right across the curriculum at school. If your child would like to try a course of instrumental lessons in school a reminder you need to book them as soon as possible before the end of the summer term to be sure of getting a lesson place.  You will find lots of information here
