Weekly Newsletter – 22 February 2021
REMINDER: GOVERNMENT ADVICE: CRITICAL WORKERS SHOULD ‘KEEP THEIR CHILDREN AT HOME IF THEY CAN’
Dear parents and carers
I hope that everyone had a restful and enjoyable half term break. Once we receive further information about the full reopening of schools, I will update you with the information you will need.
As always, I have tried to keep the weekly newsletter as brief as possible. Please try to take note of everything in the newsletter as it contains important information and updates.
Parent survey
Thanks to everyone who has completed the parent survey into remote learning. If you haven’t completed the survey, please do so as soon as possible. So far, we have received 80 responses. Of these:
86% are happy with the overall quality of remote learning
85% feel that communication has been good
73% think that the live lessons have been good
78% have been happy with the information on the school website and class pages.
We are pleased that the very large majority of parents are happy with our remote learning provision but we are always looking to improve what we do. Please can we ask that any specific feedback you have about any aspect of the remote learning is sent in an email to admin@hillside.cheshire.sch.uk. We would particularly like to hear about anything that has not worked well so that we can rectify this.
