Weekly Newsletter - 22nd October

Half-term

Please remember that school closes at 3.15pm on Friday 26th October for the half-term holiday.  School will re-open at 8.55am on Tuesday 6th November.  Monday 5th November is an INSET day (staff training) where we will be working with colleagues across the Frodsham and Villages Schools’ Partnership (FAVSP) to share and develop best practice.  We hope that the children enjoy a well-earned rest and come back refreshed and ready for an exciting half-term in the run up to Christmas!!

Parents’ Evenings

Thank you to everyone who attended parents’ evenings last week.  It is because of our excellent relationships between home and school that we are able to provide such a good support for our pupils and help them flourish and learn.  We do hope that you found the meeting(s) informative and helpful. As always, if you have any concerns or worries do please check in with your child’s class teacher or speak to Mr Richardson.

Harvest Week

We hope that the children enjoy their harvest breakfasts this week and enjoy sharing their food and celebrating harvest time with their friends.  Please remember that we are collecting for the local food bank and food items can be sent in all week.  Thank you.  You are also most welcome to join us for our harvest festival at St Paul’s Church on Thursday 25th October at 2pm.

Flu immunisation

A reminder for parents of children in R-Y5, if you haven’t done so already please return the consent form asap for flu immunisations taking place on 15th November.
